#22 Grinder Knives & Plates

Some grinder plates will have a hub on one side. The hub is used to create more support when attaching to the grinder. They are also easier to remove after grinding when your hands are slick from product. With a hub-less plate, you can benefit by being able to use both sides of the plate before having to sharpen it. It is also easier to install on the machine. though it lacks the additional support compared to the hubbed. Between the two, a hubless plate is recommended due to its ability to last longer having 2 useable sides.
